"Decision Made" on Sponsor Application -- how it affects PR application?

Hello!

About 3 weeks ago the status of my Sponsorship Application changed from "in process" to "decision made." I read the table that explains what it means and it says:

"Sponsorship and Eligibility Status Determined
We have made a decision on your sponsorship application. We will inform you in writing of the decision.

Application Forwarded to Visa Office
We have forwarded your application to the Visa Office for final processing. Quebec residents please see the relevant diagram.

Sponsor Advised of Decision Made
We will inform you in writing of the decision made on your sponsorship application. We will send you a Permanent Resident Kit that you will need to forward to the family class relative you are sponsoring."

Does this mean I'm supposed to receive a letter in the mail, because I still haven't received anything yet. And what does this mean for the PR Application which is still "in process"?

Thank you!
Batoul

They may email you if you included an email address. They do communications in batches, so next batch probably.

Sounds like AIP.

Thanks so much!

Can you tell me a little about the Approval in Principle? Can the sponsored person travel to Canada if there's AIP?

It looks as if you applied outland. In that case, that's just Sponsor Approval. From looking at your previous posts, you applied quite a while ago and had an interview in April. If that's the case, then this new update doesn't change anything. There was a system update recently where the sponsor side changed to decision made, even though the SA occurred a long time ago.

AIP is for inland applicants. It does not apply to you.
