Next PPR email will be sent on Oct 8 2014. I am guessing this one after checking October 2013 applicant thread who got decision made between May 16 to May 24 and PPR request after 2 months 8 days on July 24 2014.

I hope it will come true.

I personally know someone who got PPR on July 25th 2014 right after he got DM on 21st July 2014... ;)
So I guess they just batch out PPR at once..?

I have just got an email from my MP who says that my file is fully complete and that I am in a backlog waiting on my residency document to be printed.
I am not sure whether that means I will not need to submit my passport. She says that they have been short staffed and that there is no time frame on when I will have the confirmation. I am happy that it's good news but will have to wait a little longer I suppose.

Yes Freckle, i am actually in a huge dilemma. I was kinda hoping to not get PPR for another week atleast. Well my spouse sent his passport for canadian visa today, since we had been waiting for PPR for long. Now all we can do is submit our passports on nov 19th and not before that. :(

Bdw, do u think sending our passports so late is gonna be a problem? Technically it would be still less than 60 days. Do u have any idea? I am a little stressed.

Yay!! Ppr for me as well!! Cheers guys!!

Hi Mandie, what's your timeline?

Hurray !!!!
Finally the wait is over.

Hey guys need your advise with my situation.
got my ppr today but I will be visiting my parents for a month from November end till new years.
Does anyone know if CIC gives deadline or some sort of time frame to do landing once i send my passport in for stamping
I was thinking to delay sending my passport for a month so that I will have spare time to finish the formalities..
Is anyone aware about timeframe that we have to finish landing after getting passport stamped ??

Thanks

If they receive your passport before November 23 (now + 60 days which they give), you should be fine. They say the passport should be received by their office within 60 days. Just send it the same day with the next day courier, so CPP ottawa can receive it next day, november 20th (which is Thursday). I would also send an email to ottawa explaining the situation. Just to give it try.

Maybe you also can consider a option to submit the passport in the home country? I am not sure how it works though, sounds more challenging.

Good luck!
