issues were before the VO stage, as they rejected me once then I appealed then they accepted then went to VO.

AT LAST, after a precariously long, exhausting and testing wait -today I RECEIVED THE PASSPORTS WITH THE MAPLE LEAF attached along with 2 copies of COPRs each, one for the CIC and one for self, in the afternoon by regd. post. A two page instructions leaflet was also attached.


A quick glance of all the COPRs suggest everything is mentioned correctly, will have to check once again leisurely.

what's the validity date on her visa?? as far as i can remember, the principle applicant must land first to complete the landing process, dependents can join the PA later but within the validity period on the visa.

We are still waiting for her visa and expecting it will have a validity of one year from march2014, thats the date for her medical. Our medicals expire in june 2014, first week. Our passports are also with cic for restamping of visas.

I have a question. I had received MR in June 2013 along with PPR. I send MR, PCC , but asked them to re request the passport when they have finalized. This is because I was in the US. Now my family has gone to Kerala, India and I anticipated that our Passport will be requested and so I send my passport along with them , couple of months back.

Today morning, I got a mail from the VO to submit our passports as its ready, yay !.
But, there is no VFS office in Kerala and also I called them up and they said they need all the people in person when we submit the passport to the VFS, which is not feasible as I am in the US now.
So second option is to send all our passports via expedited courier to the NDVO. But , what is the procedure. Do I need to provide them with a return envelope already paid for , so that the VO can return our stamped passports ?

You can send your passports by any courier and India Post (speed post) and you can track it using the ref no. The pps are delivered by the VO usually through the same service used, if it's available there. regards, td

Thats fine. But do you think the NDVO will spend money to send it back. So, the real question is, should I enclose a prepaid courier envelope so that they can send back the passport, or should I enclose a DD ( demand draft ) for them to cover their expenses to send back the passports. And if so I scrounged through the net to find what the DD amount should be, for i didn't find out . SO do anyone knows , if its DD, then how much it will take for 4 passports .

Meanwhile I called up NDVO and they were not helpful and were in a rush and even when i tried to ask them they keep on adamantly asking to contact VFS which is not feasible in my case.

Also I have not figured lout how to attach my vital figures regarding my app timelines so that they appear adjacent to my name. How to do that ? I went into my profile but i didn't see that option.

we have sent our baby's medical n pp recently n today we got an email from vfs to call them as they need some additional docs for our daughter. We have sent everything including her birth certificate. Now vfs is closed till monday. I am very worried since we dont know What they require at this point. Seniors please comment. We have everything at stake n we are worried if this has to do something with her medical.

Called VFS on Monday and they said we need to send email to CIC. Have been sending them emails and got no reply from them till today. Our Medicals expire in less than 50 days. Been 4 years already. Cant understand why they are not sending me the information on what documents do they need.

i send the pps thru bluedart .and for vfs we have vfs office in cochin u can get the address online...
