DECISION MADE FOR SPOSNOR BUT APPLICANT IN PROCESS

Im New here thank you for posts

I send Common in law application for pr in canada

Last mid oct, I see DM on sponsor but no email sent to the representative since then.

Applicant section which is me In Process last update requested renewal of my passport which it was sent th3 following day since they seem to miss it- the renwal page.

Later
For the sponsor when I click on Decsion Made last thing we started processing your application on June

Now it's almost three months
No updates
No email about what is the DM for sponsor, the representative requested respond but nothing.

Anyone had similar situation like us

Please let me know if any had experience like me and my girlfriend.

This looks normal. When was your application received by IRCC?

The approval for the sponsor comes first. The the applicant is assessed. End to end you're looking at around 12 months to process the application.

It's normal not to hear anything for a number of months in a row.

Do you mean you have been waiting since LAST October? Like October 2018?

2019 april was sent and June 2019 it was received. Decision made sponsor section 2019 oct since Oct 2019 there was a request for the email about what is decision made for sponsor but no respond as yet

Yes - so your processing times look normal. The sponsor portion of your application has been approved and IRCC is now assessing the applicant. You likely have another six months to wait more or less before the application is finalized.

• The application was received at the Case Processing Centre in Sydney (CPC-S), Nova Scotia, on April 17, 2019.

• The background verifications are currently in process.

I believe it has started mid oct

How long this could take, and is this for every application
Any thoughts please

The answer hasn't changed, 12 months from submission. Yes, every app has background checks.
