I that case, My work permit is already expired, in the month of March 2016, I am not sure what order they are following.

by the way, i have inquired about DD, The Canadian bank's "Canada Trust TD" And "Scotia Bank" DD have no expiry date, these DD's are known as paper cash. So, i think it works same with other Canadian bank's too.

Am not sure why OINP is complaining about DD expiry for IN-LAND applicants.

Even in India they give DD of Canada bank. So it becomes local DD for OINP. I dont know what is this valdity for? They never mentioned any validity on my DD.

Not sure what exactly their intention is: About DD, Do they want to collect more funds or, they want to prolong the applications time !

.............Haaaaaaaaaaaa :-X

Actually you know what I feel is OINP realized they made a blunder by sending PT to all those above 400 crs. Now they want to run the PNP like others. They will have their own selection and they will invite selected ones to apply. They want to get rid of this thing asap and so they are not showing any interest. Meanwhile they are revising their PNP and you will see a major change in 2017.

But as they promised they will at least consider all those who are in que. so far so good.

they have been selective. not all that are above 400crs got invited last year, in fact there are many who weren't, even more that those who were.

No it was technical problem . That is what they told me 5 times i called them. I recreated my EE app 5 times and I got PT. They told me they dont have selection other than 400 CRS. Believe me those were the days they replied to phone calls so nicely.

I thought they were NOC-sensitive (however undisclosed) too?! I dunno

OINP is mailing receipts to applicants without the $1500 getting credited to Ontario Minster of Finance?

How come; are they unaware of the auditing? Is there no internal / external audit ?

I am afraid this DD chaos created by OINP will put the applicants in jeopardy / delays, if OINP fails to track old / new DD.

May effect, delay nominations!! till they get $1500 credited to Ontario Minster of Finance.
:(

Bestofluck

You are lucky ..on oxygen..very soon the AOR will hit your inbox.

Feb applicants are on ventilator, going through the threads :'(

I cannot help but wonder, if it takes them 6 months for simple task like flagging the application as complete, how long will they take to come up with a decision (nomination)?? ???

Mine is also 'Canadian Imperial bank of Commerce'. No validity mentioned.

Logically, anything that has an expiry date does have that expiry date explicitly mentioned or a statement like "valid for 6 months" or an indication like "Best Before...." etc.

Today, I asked ICICI Bank folks that my DD has expired since it was issued 6 months back. They shot back, sir how do you know that your DD has really expired ?. That left me sort of puzzled because at the time of issue the very same bank executive told me that it's valid for 6 months.

If Canadian bank issued DD's of CEC-Inland folks don't expire, question is are our Indian DDs which are payable by the same Canadian banks - actually expiring specially when they too don't have any expiry date mentioned ?.

Problem is that OINP is totally nuts. They are simply throwing back the Drafts at the applicants without even trying to encash them.
