December 2022 Visitor Visa Applicants

My friend had applied for TRV and it was approved within a week of completion of Biometrics. Nov 2022 applicant.

My mother has applied for visitor visa in December and it is in process.
We want to update her passport now as it will expire early next year.
If the visa is approved can we send the new passport directly?
Is there a way to update IRCC that we are renewing the passport?

Applied from where and was any letter attached to request expedited processing?

Try submit information using Webform, provide passport colored copy as well through Webform. DONOT cancel current passport if possible bcoz in case u recve approval on current passport than May be it will be an issue

If we get a new passport then the old one will automatically get cancelled. Will they answer webform queries for TRV applications?

Applied from US and there was no request for expedited processing.

I am a PR holder for last 6 months working in Canada, wishing to apply visit visa for my parents. Can I apply thru separate applications for my spouse‘s parents and my parents at the same time? or advisable to apply only for one set of parents at a time.

If applying for Visitor Visa - I would suggest using IRCC portal over GC key.
