Notice to appear!!!
After LPP finally changed to completed on May 30, I did not have high expectations of being able to take my oath soon, though I did check frequently and I was hoping.

My ceremony is June 23rd. YAY!

The tracker has not changed, citizenship ceremony is still "not started". But I admit I care more about the email I received that has all the details in it on when to appear where, and what I need.

Anyway, I'm going to learn the bilingual anthem and buy some Canadian flag themed stuff to decorate my video environment with.
I'm so happy!

Congratulations!
My LPP were also completed on June 12 after such as long silence. I hope my oath takes place as quickly as yours!

It's a waiting game again now :( Hope this ends soon.
I know right?
Below is my husband's timeline.

AOR Feb 21, 2022
BG Aug 25
Test Sep 28
LPP Oct 18
Oath in progress Jan 13, 2023
Oath Feb 7

He had a standard timeline (oath within 6m from the test) but 3.5m between LPP and Oath. My case is non-routine because I waited 8m for LPP to be completed. I wish they could schedule those who are waiting so long before the newbies.

Jealous to see this. Lol. My one is non-routine too. I waited about 8mo to get my background completed since my test last year October. My LPP got completed faster within couple of months since BG. And we are in our 19th month (current processing time). So maybe I have the feeling these guys are trying to push us out before we get added to the "officially outside of standard processing time" pile. This is me being very optimistic. Realistically this could take another month or so. I believe.

Been almost 9 months since BG was completed for my wife's application. LPP has been pending. We contacted local MP, requested GCMS notes, reached out to IRCC - all had just one outcome - It's under process. By the end of this month, we will cross the 19 months turnaround time. I have no idea why her application is pending while I, and couple of our friends applied at the same time or even after, have long gotten our citizenship. I am not even frustrated with the delayed processing, at this stage, I am just frustrated with the absolutely arbitrary process and lack of clarity/visibility.

Lot of them are in the same boat including me and then there are people who applied in April 2023 and got the citizenship in June. Beat that!

Ghost update on March 2, 2023, but nothing has changed.

Type: Online Application
Application Office: Vancouver
Application submitted: December 23, 2021
AOR: February 21, 2022
Test Marked Complete: September 22, 2022
Physical presence, Prohibitions, and Language Skills; Background verification is "In Progress."
Citizenship Oath: Not started
Application online status: "Waiting for additional documents," but I received no correspondence. I called IRCC they said nothing is pending, just a system glitch.
I am in a similar boat. I wish I could give my FP without a letter. My criminal check is pending since June :(

Hello, any suggestions why the background status that was updated to completed in December 2022 changed to in progress today. Finger prints were going to expire in May 2023 and were waiting for only the oath ceremony.
