Hi. @legalfalcon FSW O, AOR 5 dec, does change in marital status during application processing makes the application delay even more? I know its a silly question. But age is not delaying like the processings do.
change in marital status absolutely, as they now have to process your spouse as well.

UNLESS you went from common law -> married, your spouse was already included so nothing really changes.

Just received the third GCMS notes (service from getgcms - requested on 24th January so 30 days held)

Seems some movement after nearly one year. I am thinking of proactively sending PCCs soon.

Nov 20, VO Ottawa. Only eligibility and info shat passed, rest not started. I did upfront medicals a week ago and received a GU today without any changes, medicals still not showing. I wonder if it was just a glitch. Normally if my file was really opened they would have asked for remedicals like some cases i've seen. Anyone received a ghost update but nothing changed on their profile with a case like mine?

Dear @legalfalcon

I have a little worry. Last month, (January 2022) 80% of my POF was spent due to circumstances I could not avoid.

Would it be ok to do another gift deed to make up for my balance POF? Pls note that my initial POF was a gift deed by my dad.

If yes, is it okay to wait till I get an ADR for updated POF(that’s if I ever get it) before submitting another gift deed? Or should I do another gift deed right now and update it before they ask?

Also, since I am now married with my spouse accompanying, can I have my spouse do a gift deed by her dad, and attach a letter of consent from my spouse saying I have access to the funds?

Please, your response will guide me.

Regards

You can call IRCC and confirm if there has been any change in your application.

Hi @legalfalcon,

I am looking for your expert advise on the current situation.

AOR is 19th Dec 2020.
Medical Passed21st Jan 2021
Current Medical Status - Expired
No new request Received for re-med
And Hence No Passport request

I am getting married in April and want to take all the measures that prevents my file from getting recalculated by including a Non accompanying spouse.
Considering that PPR’s are pouring in and I have no clue whether I will get the golden mail in a month or two or not at all, I wish to understand that should I inform IRCC before hand or wait till I get married and then inform IRCC on the change in family composition?

Could you please what is the right procedure that should be followed?

Thanks much in advance.

Hi @ankitg3434, @fdelliott2, @raklukr

I have a profile very similar to yours (Including the ADR):

AOR 21/12/2020
COR USA
VO Montreal
Medical - Expired on 18/01/2021 ( No Re medical/Extension received till date)
ADR - Received on 14/2/2022 for POF.
ADR - submitted on 21/2/2022

IRCC updated receipt of my ADR on 21/2/2022. Since then there is no movement in my account.

Could you please share your statuses if there is an update? Could help in assessing how close we are to the D-day!

ADR for POF is usually a good sign that they are advancing on your application processing.

I'll share my timeline because we have similar AOR and VO.

AOR 16/12/2020
FSW Inland
VO Montreal -> Vancouver
Medical - Approved Jan/21 -> Extended Nov/21 (reflected on my online account)
Eligibility - Review Required - Recommended Pass since Nov/21
Security - Passed in early Feb/22, according to IRCC call centre
Criminality and Info-sharing - In progress
No ADRs

Request for ADR ( mostly POF) for applicants from Montreal and later moved to Edmonton/Vancouver doesn't seem to suggest anything. I see many applicants were asked for POF since a months but no one has go anything after that, i submitted ADR (POF) on 26th Jan, 2020 and its still says
