That is doesn’t make any sense. Security starts only when Eligibility is passed. @legalfalcon please comment.

Correct! To be honest, I have reconfirmed the same thing with them.
Since I have provided RCMP upfront, I thought may be they have gone ahead. I have no idea but am still confused.

Anyways, if Criminality and Security are passed for real - it is really fast processing considering your AOR December 5!

Hi Folks, I have called the CIC customer care to check on the application to see where my application is standing, so they told me that my visa office is Sydney, NS (CIO), Criminality, and Security are passed. Currently, they are checking my eligibility and employment.

Would anyone happen to know if there is a way to call them from outside Canada to inquire about the status?

After seeing your comment saying "fast processing", I have just recalled from my communication with the Customer care that the lady said after checking my security check is passed, she was like "Wooooh! That was quick." Even she was surprised to see that passed.

I noticed you are inland FSW + PNP
That is really unique. Majority PNP inlands apply via CEC.
How come you have been invited via FSW but not CEC being inland ?

Because I do not have experience in Canada. I just started my job 6 months ago. As soon as I got the job in BC, I have applied for BC PNP and got approved in three business days.
I have applied based on the FSW eligibility criteria.

Maybe you can buy a Skype credit and call the CIC number: +1 888 242 2100

What they must have informed you is that your BGC is passed. The BGC refers to criminality and security. This is why the BGC status changes twice during the processing of the application. Since your AoR is December, it is highly unlikely that your security is passed within a month as it is initiated only after eligibility is passed, and takes an average of 110 days.

To read on security and BGC see https://bit.ly/2JPCk2g

The eligibility takes place in two stages. First an analyst or an assistant will review and make a recommendation. This can be recommended passed / Met / etc. This recommendation is then reviewed by an officer who makes a final determination. The terminology used such as met / recommended passed / passed an no relevance. Only after the eligibility is passed will security start. See my detailed post available at #4,004

HI, I'm the primary applicant and currently pregnant. I had submitted my medicals except the x-ray with my e-APR. My spouse is the accompanying applicant. Today my husband received his BIL letter. Will I only get the BIL after I submit my x-ray and pass the medicals? Anyone has any idea? @legalfalcon ?

No, the processing will continue as usual, only that some parts of the exam may be postponed until after you give birth. In such case, your application will be assessed only after all mandatory medical requirements are met, but it will continue to progress.
