Hello members!!
I received ADR for schedule A
under '8. Personal History', what if education and job overlap with each other. I did my full time job simultaneously with my masters study ;Uk university (correspondence) .
they are asking for status in the country, what to add as I was doing distant learning
I know someone who was in a similar situation. Lots of people have school and work overlapping so its not unusual. You can put the Status for the UK university as your home country (I’m assuming that’s where you were residing at the time)
But I’ll definitely include a short letter of explanation to tell the visa officer this.
Explain that it was DL while you worked your normal full time job in your country and that should be okay as long as you have the degree certificate verifiable. Goodluck

Hello Everyone,

Would appreciate some guidance from people who are in the same boat.

I have just received an ADR asking for PCC. I have already provided PCC in December 2020 for my time in India (up until 2017) and the UK (up until Dec 2020). I have since then been in the UAE for about 4 months (visiting) and then in India for about 3 months (visiting) and since July 2021, I have been in Canada. I have applied for my PCC in Canada but should I be reapplying or providing an updated PCC for the UK and India?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Did you spend time in UK after your AOR? If yes, please submit a fresh UK PCC.
In any case, please submit a fresh India PCC as you spent time there.
No need for a UAE PCC bcz it was less than 6 months.

hello members!

I have this remark under Background
Background check
  • Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.
I received ADR: Schedule A and PCC
and remed for dependent only, not primary.

Is this normal?

Hi All, did anyone receive passport back after PR visa stamping?
So, I got my PPR request on Jun 13, 2022. I sent my passport on Jun 22, 2022 and it reached the IRCC office on Jun 27, 2022. Today (Jul 6, 2022) they have dispatched the decision envelope courier back to me and I am expecting to get my passport back in like 5 days. So, on an average it takes around 10 days to process everything at IRCC office to make a decision I believe. Also, checked the profile on my portal and its updated today that my eligibility is completed and the final decision was that my application was approved (Jul 6, 2022). So, I'm stil having my fingers crossed until I get the decision envelope.

Hi All!!

I have Received my PPR letter on 30th June 2022. But in the address my Apartment name has a small spelling error and my name has a spacing issue (Instead of Ravi Rajagopal Rangachari) it is written as "Ravirajagopal Rangachari").

Is this a critical issue ? Should I raise a webform and wait until IRCC replies to submit my passport for stamping. Or submit a webform and also submit my passport simultaneously ?

Please let me know as it would be really helpful for me and some others also :) thanks in advance !!

Congratulations! Don't be panicked, just submit your passport with accurate information demanding by them, they will issue you visa as per your passport name.

Thanks a lot :) I will go ahead and submit my passport then :). Just in case I will submit a webform also for the error in PPR letter. Or that is not needed at all ?

If you get anything wrong on your visa or COPR paper then you raise the webform.
