Hey guys, I received my notes..it says that eligibility is passed..
Security not started
Criminality in process.
My file was transferred to etobicoke in 2020. It's been over 2 years since I apply for PR..
In my notes the officer approved my application..
I payed my PR fees upfront with my application..
My question is what happens next??.. it's been so long and my security not started and criminality still in process.. Does passing eligibility means I can apply for work permit and apply for Ohip also??.. please let me know guys...thanks in advance..and everyone that is still waiting please dont stop praying because your break through is coming!!. Prayer is what kept me going because this thing is very stressful!!

Has anyone been able to link the PR card application with their GCKey account?

its been 6 months since we mailed them photos and COPR copy but there is no update whatsoever

I have been waiting since January this year

The portal says that it's yet to be reviewed by IRCC. No updates whatsoever as of now. Not sure when I will get my spouse's PR card.

I have been waiting since January for my first PR card.

Wow, that took a long time. Congrats. Looks like the new way of getting the PR card is more efficient than the old way. At least we know they are working on cards.

To Nov/28/19. Even though it still says Photo under review in the portal despite receiving the PR card the card will work. I used it this morning to reenter Canada this morning @ Pearson Airport & the card was accepted @ the Kiosk & when the agent looked @ it. Therefore no need to worry if it says photo under review

Still no PR card, or any movement on my application, after a month (after being promised I would get it in 3 weeks). I have now contacted my MHA, as it is affecting my healthcare card. I have been told, MCP (healthcare card), cannot be renewed without card now. They renewed it for 6 months, but won't after that expires. Enough is enough.

Does anybody from Dec 2019 still waiting for decision to be made . There is no movement in file since nov 2020 after Sponsor approval . Raised many webforms, contacted MP, ordered GCMS notes. I don't know what to do now ? Any advice or suugestion will be much apprectiated .

What did your MP say? Is your case complicated. I got mine in 13 months, but still waiting for card (contacted mha as well and waiting for reply). There was someone on this thread got theirs this year. It seems processing old apps have ground to a halt
