Still no SA after sending application on December 23rd 2016 and no response to enquiries sent to CIC and no information given to me over the phone.
I'm assuming this is bad news.
My partner and I will moving out of Canada in September and selling our home

What is your situation, if you don't mind me asking? Can you think of any reason they would deny your application? If it's a straightforward case that has met all the eligibility requirements and SHOULD be approved, then you should fight for it. Hire a lawyer (much cheaper than uprooting your whole life).

I am soooo sorry for you. I can't imagine the feeling.
The process can be so frustrating. I always wonder throughout the day if you have made any process.
At least I know we had sponsor approval and apparently our app was sent to Mexico VO because I received a letter in the mail.
Have you tried going to your local MP? Maybe they can help you out. I know it's a lot of work but at least you can get an answer at this point whether it's good or bad. Maybe they misplaced your application and that's why you are sitting in limbo. I know the possibilities are endless but at least then you would have a concrete answer instead of always wondering and assuming it's bad news.

Common law living together for almost 4 years now, no medical or criminal history.
I can't for the life of me think the reason for refusal. It's such a shame because I love Canada.
I will take some the next steps

Need help urgently!!!!!! My husband received an email asking for the following:

Client Information: Receipt of information from client Authorization to Disclose
Information form + Details of Military Service Form (Country Specific Package). This must be received
at this office by: 2017/04/13

I know about the military service form but have no idea what is the Receipt of information from client Authorization to Disclose
Information form. If someone can help me I will really appreciate it.
