Hi guys!

I tried to call CIC but they ask to key in application number which I don't have yet since I still haven't heard from them at all. So for anyone that got thru, what number did you put as your application number? I tried to key in 0 but it said that it was invalid number and then ended the call. How to get thru to an agent? Please help.

When I called and it asked for my application number I pressed 0000 0000# and then it asked for my month of year and birth which I entered and it let me thru

FYI...I spoke with CIC this morning.. It is simply a mistake in the email where it says Inland.. they confirmed that in the system I'm Outland and all good to send to Quebec for my Certificat.

My husband didn't call yet, but I hope it's also a mistake and we're OK too with the inland. He called Quebec and we will mail today to them the Quebec files along with the letter from CIC. They said getting the CSQ takes about 20 days, they will send two copies, and in case the embassy where our file will be send needs one CSQ, will ask from us. Some embassies don't ask, as they get a list directly from Quebec.

So you should send your package to QB also, good luck!

P.S. have you asked about UCI too? regarding that is not 8 numbers so we cannot enter the system

Hi guys! I finally got through. I was using this apps called Magic Jack and called 1800 number. It allows me to call the number from Malaysia.The agent said that my husband's name is on the list BUT they haven't opened our application yet. When we asked why some people that apply after us already got AOR she said don't trust the forum. WTH? I don't think anyone in this forum will lie. So obviously she didn't know what she's talking about. She kept saying to refer to the website and the website said it's still working on application from Dec 2nd..BUT it was last updated on Feb 18th!! It's so frustrated when they think that we don't know what we're talking about. I don't know what to think anymore..so i guess just to wait..and wait..and wait..

Hello everyone I received my AOR already. I did not receive it until I called them. You have to call them if you are over 85 days. I sent my application to missisauga office on December 10th. Feb 27 I received the AOR but they only sent me the e-mail after I called them. So call them and they will ask your first name and last name for both of you and ur date of birth and will give you a verbal confirmation and later they send u email as well. Mine is SA processing now.

I called after reading the forum messages. Thank you guys. Good luck and I will keep you guys posted.

Its over 85 days now....
Can I call them (Im from the Philippines, the applicant) or My Aunt (Sponsor) should be the one calling them?
What number did you call? Please advise

I asked about the UCI, the one I received on my S/A is for my husband, the one on the AOR is the one I used with CIC this morning. I also called QC MIDI this morning just to be sure.. In the QC checklist it requests the CIC letter as well as SA approval notification. I told her that they seem to be one in the same. She confirmed that indeed it is the letter they need, so all is good. She said to send it and it would take 25 days at most.

Leaving Wednesday morning to go see my husband.. it's nice to go with some good news

Its the global number for Canadian services. Once you call that number select the immigration section and your call will be transferred to the usual 1800 number.
