CIC received my application December 18, hope i will be the next one getting AOR and SA

So the CIC site says 84 days but a couple of people here got their AOR in 74 and 75 days while others who submitted their application sooner than them are still waiting? What gives??? I am picturing all the applications lined up by the date of receipt but I am imagining a dozen people who work on processing the applications... They all grab like a dozen cases at a time and then some go on vacation and the applications they have already picked up sit in their box until they get back.... And some workers are slower than others...

Anyways, who knows but I hope they process mine first since my police check is going to expire in 18 more days! ARGH!! :-\

Hi, you may be right. CIC received my app on 10 Dec 2014 and still no response (AOR) so far. hope that we can get the good news within this week. Will let you know once got it.

I tried to call CIC but they ask to key in application number which I don't have yet since I still haven't heard from them at all. So for anyone that got thru, what number did you put as your application number? I tried to key in 0 but it said that it was invalid number and then ended the call. How to get thru to an agent? Please help.
