December 2014 citizenship applicants!

I called CIC call centre twice and spoke to 2 different agents one of them asked to submit the application package back as it is with proof of Canada post delivery. other agents said to submit new application with new fees. Both of them cannot provide assurance, This looks confusing?

Just to avoid any further delays you may pay additional fees and resubmit it again and explain the situation in the cover note along with previous receipt of Canada post submission. This way CIC will accept your application and if they find that you had a genuine reason, they might refund you the additional fee that you have paid.

My file was transferred to Vancouver office on 27th February 2015. Now eagerly waiting for test/interview/oath

My status changed to

Your file was transferred to the Scarborough Citizenship Operations office on February 27, 2015. The Scarborough Citizenship Operations office will contact you.

Nice.. you two have to start wearing the bermuda shorts now (although it's not yet spring lol) to receive your Test Invite ;D


Kovachum-- i modified your transfered to local office date to 2015-02-27 it was 2015-03-06 on the spreadsheet.

so it looks like it takes 4 to 10 days from IP to transfer.. hmm hopefully mine get transfered soon

Thanks, my ecas got updated on 6th March 2015 stating that file was transferred on 27th Feb 2015. It means it took around a week to update ecas.

I know someone who received test invite and then about a week letter received election letter

We received the Election letter this week, but obviously it is to be sent back once one becomes citizen. My e-cas has not even be reactivated. Hopefully in a couple of days it does.

Weather wise South Ontario is looking better than couple of weeks ago. Cannot wait to wear my Bermuda shorts!!!

I am surprised how CIC is working with 2015 applications.

No, we are just having a concentration session before some of us get their respective eCAS updated tomorrow, Tuesday
You'll see a lot of activity here tomorrow with the eCAS activation, IP, LOT, etc.
Apparently, Nov. applicants have started to receive test letter...

After reviewing November's applicants, I see couple of Test Letters were sent out (Scarborough).

Our time is about to come!

Btw, eCAS updates just on Tuesday? I have seen Applicants reporting updates on different days of the week though.
