Hi beauhoe,

From reading the December posts, it seem like you are maintaining the December spreadsheet. If this is true, can I kindly request you make the spreadsheet sorted by the received date, this would allow any viewer to look at the progress of December applicant based on their received date because right now new people adding their data even if it is prior to previous dates, ends up at the bottom of the sheet.

The August applicants have their spreadsheet at http(colon)//goo.gl/UdobDN (not allowed to post links yet!) which is sorted using the received date. It is a google doc spreadsheet.

Thanks once again for your hard work maintaining the December Spreadsheet.

Tomalika, stamping passport is vague when you travel to USA. It also depends on the means of travel ( air, bus or road). Weather the passport stamped or not, PR card is swiped at the port of entry. CIC does not have information regarding your travels but CBSA does. So, You should apply after you complete the required stay in Canada. Weather passport stampled or not, you should write the dates and calculate your stay in land accordingly. I travel to USA every couple of months. I had my trips to USA for which there are no stamps in my passport ( outbound or inbound ) but I declared every trip in my application, just play safe !!
Thank you for the detailed information.
Cheers,

If you travel by air, USA officers will always stamp the passport. If you are travelling by land, then they will stamp it once and issue you a i94 which would be valid for six months thus if you go to usa by land again within next 6 months, they won't stamp it again. after six months they will stamp it with new i94.

While coming back to canada by land, CBSA officer will scan the PR card and won't stamp the passport. If you arrive by air to canada, and if you go to automatic kiosk at airport, you will scan the PR card and there would be no stamp unless you go to the CBSA officer's booth to specifically ask for a stamp.

Thank you thecoolguysam for your reply. I traveled by air but immigration officer didnt stamp my passport when returning to Canada. They stamped the declaration form and kept it in airport.

Thank you triumpher83 for your reply. I will mention my trip in the Citizenship application with proper information. I traveled by air but immigration officer didnt stamp my passport when returning to Canada. They stamped the declaration form and kept it in airport.
Is there any of the trip that you did by air and they didnt stamp your passport?

Received Purolator Email confirming delivery of my application today morning at 9:30am. Delivery accepted by Mike Khaszda. Now the wait begins... ::)

If he haven't stamped the passport then don't worry, he must have scanned your PR card and that makes an entry into the system that you have arrived.
If you are still in doubt, you can order CBSA report and it usually takes 30-40 calendar days to arrive.

Yes, I have entry from airport when no stamp on passport. So, As I said earlier, it's very vague. And, again I would suggest stop worrying about stamps on passport, just apply with all facts for citizenship when you are ready !! You can order travel report CBSA but that would be unnecessary if you really don't require.
