Hi there!

Just received my new test date after only 3 weeks! Just so you know I was able to send a letter explaining why I couldn't make it 8 days before my test. I also called CIC. Maybe that helped, I don't know!

Between my first date and new date, I have only waited for 3,5 weeks New test is September 15th.

I live in Calgary.

Yaay that is great news... So the 'rescheduled" category is also moving fast. All the best to us!!!

Hello fellow applicant for Citizenship with Dec 2014 file submission date

First of all congrats to all of them who have made it to test and Oath.

I have submitted my application on 23rd Dec and then it was transfered to Scarborough office. They move the application status to In Proces on 30th March 2015 and since then no communication from them, Is this normal ?

I see some of the application from Dec 2014 have made good progress? Do I need to worry and contact them ? any thoughts /suggestion most welcome

Sudanese One, i have pretty the same timeline as yours. My application office is Montreal.

Percyperry, you can see that you are not alone...

I called yesterday CIC to give them, my the dates of my vacation and according to them my application is normal.

So we have to wait, that's all.

- We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on December 8, 2014.
- We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on March 9, 2015.
- We started processing your application on June 9, 2015.
- Your file was transferred to the office responsible for your area on June 24, 2015. The office responsible for your area will contact you.

It takes about 3 months from the transfer to get a test date. You still need to wait. Not until the end of September. Be patient. Some members have been waiting since March so...

Our ecas status says "Complete". We are all done with this process for now. Following is the status on ecas

We sent you correspondence on June 2, 2015. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. We sent you a notice on July 3, 2015 to appear and write the citizenship test on July 23, 2015 at 8:15 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. You became a Canadian citizen on September 1, 2015.

Yes the test is multiple choice. Usually 4 answers but some questions are also only true/false. Good luck!

I have a question. I applied for my citizenship in December 2014 and my wife applied in April 2015. She has received a notice to appear for citizenship test Sept 22. My file is stuck at "In Process". Any idea why?
