I keep checking the processing times page hope that they'll update it soon!!! I want to see those numbers go down a bit!!
I keep checking too!!! Change already :)

There is so much anticipation for these quarterly changes. It really keeps people at the edge of their seats.

I'd love to believe that most VOs will get lower wait times..... I mean, that's not too much to ask right, with the strike over and all.

please?? :-X

AOR from Visa Office is when you receive an Acknowledgement of Receipt from your VO in the second stage of sponsorship
ECAS - I'm not sure what it stands for but it is the online tracking system on the CIC website which tracks the progress of your file

Aww, I understand your worry. I'm sure everything is fine, they just haven't updated it to ECAS. Do you know much about your VO in terms of if they usually respond to people's queries? Hopefully when you do reach out to them, they will ease your worries.

Thanks Patience!

The average processing time for my VO is 18 months and the last thing I want to hear from them in reply to my query is your application is under process within the average processing time!! :o :'(

I have already told my husband that I am planning on running away to Moscow leaving my mind behind coz it just Won't stop thinking!!! Probably check out the Winter Olympics and get a break from all of this!?!

;)

ECAS = Electronic Client Application Status (is when you check your application online, using the UCI number or file number)

P.S. the past week I've been checking the processing times at least 5 times a day. It is sad, I know :)

at first, i thought you typed ECAS tracks the progress of your LIFE. (which isn't too farfetched lol)

Hahaha hilarious!! But it's true, cause as long as your FILE is in process, your LIFE is on hold :o :o

Another update:

My friend received my traffic check yesterday (new, useless police check on Friday). On my traffic history it says my licence is suspended due to a SPER referral, which we found out was a non-voting fine from 2012... I'VE LIVED IN CANADA SINCE 2010!!! -_- Hopefully since it's not a criminal conviction it will be all good, I'm sending a letter from SPER to show that it's a mistake on Aus Electoral Committee's part. 1 week until deadline. I think I need some Valium. I hope all the trouble I'm having makes everyone else feel better about their applications. Maybe not hearing anything is better than having a whole folder in your inbox dedicated to CIC. We'll find out one way or another in a few weeks whether my stupid country of citizenship ruins my life further. Good luck everyone.

Ugh Benji, sorry to hear this :(. I didn't even know you could get fined for not voting in a country?!!?!

I'm sure that CIC will be able to tell that it's nothing serious, plus you are sending some documentation to address it. Thank goodness you got your stuff in time!!

Just got this;

Good Morning

Please submit the document for review. The conviction may not affect your admissibility to Canada. You include a letter of explain nation regarding the offence when lodging the QLD Traffic History.

Hoping I'm all good but I guess we'll find out. Can you believe that fine is $156! For not voting! Ridonkulous.

Dear immigration gods,
Please no more hiccups, I simply can't take it.
