Ohmygulay! You need to relax dear! My skin asthma broke out din yesterday, I guess because I'm stressing it out to much.. I know, easy to say, hard to do but, we wouldn't want to be looking like zombies when we reunite with our loved ones right? Relax. Smile. God will take care of the rest.

It is amazing to see how different people are. My Filipina wife is calm and relaxed and doesn't even bother coming on this forum. She understands that this is not a quick process. Obtaining Canadian Permanent Residence takes considerable amount of time and she knew that from the beginning.

"my nose bled because I prayed so hard" seems to be too dramatic and unnecessary.

Hi everybody, I noticed that we are one of the only remaining blue lines on the CPP-Ottawa spreadsheet -- and I think it might because we shouldn't be blue

My wife (the sponsored person) has been "Application Received" for a long time (since early February I think) and we got an email from CPP-Ottawa a couple of weeks ago asking for our CSQ and nothing else. We had sent in a scan of her passport with the original application - she is applying from the USA and the passport is still valid. Does getting the request for the CSQ mean we are really at the PPR stage?

Thanks Millertimez. I had filed for Canadian Citizenship Certificate for my first child last year in Sept2013. That took about 5 months. Oh well.

I have been checking ECAS daily. Today, June 15 early morning (Sunday) the status finally changed from 'Application Received' to 'Decision Made' (DM).

"We started processing your application on June 12, 2014....
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."

I think this is good news!! We had already received PPR on May 30, 2014.

Now I am wondering if they will mail the COPR directly to my address in US, or to our lawyer's office in Toronto. The lawyers address is set as mailing address.

Wishing others on the forum best of luck and hope you receive the visa quickly as well...
