December 2013 Citizenship Applications

Only one member's ECAS will be updated. Both members will appear in same file as it's treated as one/joint application.

Both of my kids' applications can be viewed in ECAS using their UCI numbers, but we only received one AOR letter (today!), and it has just the older child's UCI on it.

When should we expect the AOR and book to arrive ?

Generally it takes around 20 Calendar days after the applications goes into "IN PROCESS" status.

I was wondring at what stage we may get RQ? Is it after transfer application to local office or before start processig of applicaiton by CPC sydeny. Any idea???????

There is no hard & fast rule when it comes to RQ Issuance, some members got the RQ before the test and some after so you never know......

Finally, I got the status. But weird that there are two entries under my name, one seems for the fee
1. We received your payment, along with one or more citizenship applications.
And the other is the application

2. We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on December 9, 2013. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
3. We started processing your application on February 28, 2014.

Guys,

I send my family citizenship application whcih was received by CIC on December 20, 2013 but still did not get any letter of ack or anything.

I tried to check status online but did not get anything, putting PR card client id & PR card no but nothing worked for myself and for my wife as well.

Really worried whats wrong.

I am based in Montreal, QC

Same here..My family application was received on 21st December. However there is no update on Ecas yet. Not sure what's going on.
