This might be stupid question but What can we do if the Ottawa office is not replying to the email?

Its been 45 days since I sent my T4 but they haven't respond yet and my ECAS status is still the same.
I emailed again 10 DAYS AGO. They opened the email but no replies again.

I have an experience with CIC on communicating through mail. I send a mail to them asking whether i can re-use the TRV medicals done in the past 6 months for PR aswell or not ? . I waited for 30 days for their response...nothing came...Then i redone the medicals on the IMA issued for PR.
They replied for this mail on Sep 29, around 41 days telling that everything is fine with your application...relax and wait for your call!!!

Thanks it changed Tuesday October 28th, which is also the 'issued date' on the COPR. The letter arrived yesterday, Monday the 3rd of November, to Toronto.

If you send your passport because CIC send you a "Ready for Visa" email, then yes, they will stamp your PR visa in it. Standard timeline is 4 weeks, but it seems they are a bit faster nowadays. I won't bet on it though.

To get your PR card, you just need to re-enter Canada with your passport and PR visa, and your current CIC documents (Work Permit etc ). They will send the card to your address in Canada in about a month from the day you re-enter Canada.

Then you can just go to the any border right away as soon as you recieve your PP.. or you have to make an appoitment first? Or are there any special days when you can do landing..

Yes, you can go to any border right away and land or make an appointment to land in the cic office which can take time and you have to make an appointment. I just got my pp back with CPR few mins back.
