No buddy i just got my new passport in September. i got RPRF fee request on September 26 and after that today they asked me to send them valid copy of passport and travel document. i assume they might just want to make sure that i have passport with validity after December 2014 or may be it is something else. if you or any one else have any idea please let me know.

Thank you for the response. Actually, I am also the same case. Mine is expiring in January 2015 and also got the new passport. I have applied for the work permit with new passport. At this time, I am waiting for the ppr and I don't want to see this kind of document request. So was trying to find if you have given your new passport information to cic and still got this request. I may not get this kind of request because I applied for the work permit with new passport. However, who knows.

ya actually i didn't notify cic before that i got new passport, might have done that but thats ok they have requested a copy, hopefully they will send me PPR request soon after looking at the requested documents because my work permit is also till december.

Application Received by them: December 9, 2013.
AOR : January 28, 2014.
Document requested : June 20, 2014.
Medical request : July 12, 2014.
RPRF Request : July 15, 2014.
Medical done : July 17, 2014.
Medical results submitted : July 24, 2014.
then looooooooooooooooooong wait and finally
PPR Received : October 21, 2014.

I am surprised by the fact that while so many nov/dec applicants are waiting, i received my PPR even though my medical request was delayed by 15 days due to doc requested from me. Honestly I wasn't expecting it before December 2015.

I am sorry to correct but there is a guy (didn't do much research so may be more there) whose medical was received on Aug 18 and got his PPR last night.

We will never know, how CIC works. How they priorities their work...?

well, my medical is updated in ECAS in early July 2014, and ECAS indcated that they started processing my case on August 12. But nothing afterwards. for your reference.

Medicals Received : 24th July
Medicals Updated : 27th July
RPRF : Upfront paid
PPR : 21st October...
