Medicals done (waiting results and for results to be uploaded) - Jul 10, 2014

I did my medical examination with Dr. Khulman on Burnhamthorpe/Saturn Rd, Mississauga today.
It was a very pleasant experience. The medical assistants are very courteous and very helpful. It cost $160.00, cash. The doctor was very professional and good too. He said all was good.
I was then sent to CML Healthcare down the road, corner of Dixie and Burhampthorpe for blood tests. It cost $15.00, payment by debit, visa or mastercard only.
Then had to go around the corner to Dixie -X ray Associates, it cost $36.00, cash.

I was done with all the tests in about 2 hours considering the wait time for blood tests.
I now wait to see how long it takes to upload the test results etc.
I will also be on the look out for RPRF request.

Honestly, it starts freaking me out.. Why there are no MR yet? What does it mean? That smth is wrong with my case and VO is deciding to reject it or accept it? Because as I understand, if your case is rejected you will get a letter from CIC with explanations why, and if everything is good - you will receive MR and so on... And as far as I know recently they made that VO has to ask you for additional documents or explanations before rejecting your case..

Hi Pichon

Stop panicking, it means nothing. There are many December applicants who have not yet had an MR.

A VO has the right to ask for additional supporting information. This is generally to support the application, if your application is correct and legitimate then there is no reason to worry. CIC are following a Detailed and thorough application process, that is the right of the country granting immigration status.

Great!

I just moved to Australia from India, but applied for PR from within canada.

So changing address now will impact the passport request? or where do we send the passport?

I received AOR on FEb 12th & did an upfront medicals earlier. So i may get request in next 10 days.
