Are you guys keeping an eye for any updates on your application?

Hi guys,

My application was received on Dec. 6th, and was expecting my AOR by Jan. 25. I haven't received any e-mail yet (I have been checking the spam folder as well). However, I can login in ECAS and it shows "Application Received". Since I have paid with money order, I can't easily tell if its cashed or not.

Has anyone else experienced the same? Should I contact CIC about this since I need my file/application number from the AOR email?

If your application is in process then I am sure, your money order is cashed. And yes it would be a good idea to contact then for AOR email.

AOR email takes 7-10 days post CC/money order/DD charge. . ECAS update will take additional 7 days for update.

Maybe your app isn't on Ecas as yet. Give it a few days.

Thanks RikPat, you are right. Today I confirmed with my bank that the money order was cashed. I will wait a few more days for the AOR email. Looks like they haven't sent the AOR email for a few others as well after charging their CC.
