I'm not questioning the legality. It doesn't say you can't work, but it does say that work experience gained on that kind of work permit is not eligible; there is a distinction between unlawful and ineligible. You graduated, but you were still working under your off campus permit until you got your PGWP...

Do you have, or can you get a years work experience on your PGWP? That would seem to be the obvious solution if possible.

Yes. I do have one year work experience on PGWP. I was never unemployed and working in the same company from the very first day. Of course, I am going to apply again with new work experience but I also like to request them to reconsider their decision. Does any body know how to do that?

Wow. Today, I paid the RPRF and got the refusal. What would happen to my RPRF payment now?

FYI, I had finished my graduation on December 14, 2012 and claimed work experience from December 20, 2012 to December 20, 2013.

I want to request to re-consider the decision. How can I proceed?

I also had provided the college letter that says I was graduated on December 14, 2012.

I am not satisfied that you meet the skilled work experience requirement based on the information
provided. In support of your stated work experience, you provided a letter dated 2013/ 12/18 from <My employer>, stating that you worked as a Quality Analyst from 2012/12/19 to 2013/12/20
which is the lock-in date of your application. This letter of employment from your employers did not
satisfy me that you have completed one year of skilled work experience in a NOC 0, A or B occupation
prior the submission of your application because our records indicate that you were only given your post
graduate work permit on 2013/03/20. You have held full time student status prior to the lock-in date
(2013/12/20) and you are therefore not eligible to claim work experience before this date.
As such, you do not meet the work experience requirement of the Canadian Experience Class
Hi Bro,

Sorry to hear that. One thiing I noticed here is.. Your employer letter was dated Dec 18, 2013... But you claimed work experience till Dec 20, 2013.. Do you think this would have been a reson for not fulfilling 1 full year experience ?

I did not claim untill December 20. My letter was dated December 18 and stated that I will be working until some 2014 date. What I noticed that since i was employed, they consider the work experience one year before they have received the application.

I claimed until December 18 only since I was graduated on December 14.

Very sorry to hear that. Don't worry you will apply it again and it will surely get approved.

Actually, my lawyer got it may be today or yesterday but I got it today and letter is dated July 30. So VO was not poked today to send me this fucking gift. :)

I am sorry. I should have mentioned that I was graduated in December 14, 2012 and I claimed the experience from December 20, 2012 to December 20, 2013. I had also provided the letter from the college that I have graduated on December 14, 2012.

Now, I want to request to reconsider the decision based on my the fact I just gave above. How can I do that? What happen to my RPRF payment?
Along with college letter did you submitted graduation letter and a copy of OCWP??
Another reason is you got a letter from employer dated 18th December 2013, and in that letter you claimed experience uptill 20th December 2013 if I am not wrong. So 2 days extra work wont count as VO mentioned that lock in date of your application is 18th December 2013.

P.S. File an appeal. Provide them with supporting documents such as college letter, Graduation letter, A copy of OCWP, Latest reference letter, and a copy of latest paystub if you are still working in same company. I really hope you get through this. OP25a clearly states that your working experience on OCWP counts if you graduated.

Any Idea?Provide them with supporting documents such as college letter, Graduation letter, A copy of OCWP, Latest reference letter, and a copy of latest paystub if you are still working in same company. Could you please let me know where is this information has mentioned? Yes I have all the proof and I am still working in the same company.

Sorry to hear about your situation. I think you rushed it a bit which caused VO to think that you wrote the referance letter yourselfand mailed it therefore, you are not actually hired as in your company in a NOC 0,A,B occupation. If you are in BC, i know a really good consultant that can help you resolve the unsatisfactory conditions of your case.
