So... is this the week people start getting MRs?
Anyone received theirs yet? Fingers crossed to my fellow december applicants for some news soon.

One of my colleagues went through the same situation where he was unable to present the Employee Reference letter

He had provided the below Documents for Application and got Approved earlier this year.

1.Record of Employment
2.Pay Stubs
3.T4 Slips from Company
4.A declaration mail in white paper stating that Employer is refusing to provide this letter, Hence Self certifying that he(she) has been working with the company for the last X Years as Designation.

Everything went smoothly- he is now a Permanent resident.

I do have the same question. I submitted without the employer reference letter. I kept the following docs as Supporting documents as proof:

offer Letter stating roles and responsibilities
Record of employment ( ROE)
T4 copies
Employer letter while applying vis
Pay Stubs

My application had reached on 5th Dec, 2013 and I am going crazy with the wait. Haven't herd from my lawyer yet .
Lets hope things start rolling this week.

Noticed yesterday that the first November MR was received on May 2nd. It's been a month and a half since and we're still in November

EDIT: Just checked the December spreadsheet and seems like we have our first MR??? That's great

I got MR yesterday and did my Medical today (June 18). A few minutes back, I received a call from CIC. That guy asked me regarding my employer, my job experience, whether I have sent my NOA for 2013 etc... He was telling me that he is working on my file before the release... Is it usual to get a call from CIC? Thanks in advance..
