Thanks Muttley. I already live in Canada, but I've been on a BWOP since May, as my 2 year work permit expired then. I am very much looking forward to the little 1.5 hour drive down to Buffalo to do my landing when this all goes through. Guess it would be rude not to stop at Niagara Falls and have many, many beers too.

Yes Congrats Tofu. Yes I was already living in Ottaw (3.5 years). So I landed in Ottawa CIC office . MY ECAS Status has just changed today to We started processing your PR card application

The ecas is down...maybe its because of the load on it?..with everyone frantically trying to check their status after hearing about the flow of new PPRs and RPRFs... ...I hope good news is coming for all of us sooon!

I am December applicant and people are already talking about landing but i haven't received my MR yet. Does it mean that my application is rejected?

Senior can you please suggest should i still wait for CIC to respond or look for any other alternatives..

I think Honda is right. You should request the notes. You may have missed an email from them. It will be in the notes. Also I think the fact that your application is only 9 months old Vs 13 months that they say the average processing is, also has some part to play. Their target is 80% of apps in 13 months, but the actual achieved rate is in the 60+%, so obviously not all will get in 13 months. Request and review the notes.

This is my timeline and I have not heard anything from CIC. My ECAS still shows Medical Results Received. Does anyone know if this is normal or should I be doing anything. I have not ordered my notes. My nerves are on edge.

1. Application for Permanent residence received on December 23, 2013.

2. Started processing your application on July 4, 2014.

3. Medical results have been received.

4. RPRF Fees Request July 15, 2014

5. RPRFF Fees Paid July 16, 2014 and receipt sent
