I believe it was changed after they sent out the COPR. I checked the webpage on Friday night and it was changed.
I will probably go to the border when I have some free time in a couple of weeks. Just wondering how I can take advantage of my going to the border...maybe do some shopping first and re-enter Canada?? haha ;D

anyone from first week of december still waiting for MR ? or is it only me left ? my application was received on 6th December 2012 and AOR Jan 28th 2013 ... no additional docs requested nor any finger print request yet :'( im worried...

Yeh they still reviewing my CEC eligibility it says "review required" for my NOC wrt job description so I sent an updated employment letter with more information. Is there anyone still waiting ?

Did you get your finger print request ..i have the same concern
Here is the timeline of my

Applied 26 nov 2012
AOR 20 Jan 2013
Till oct, there was no reply then applied for
GCMS Notes and found out that according to
VO my duties were not matched with NOC .
And my status was " review required" .I believe
The VO requested another officer for another review
At the last it said" awaiting officer review required before
Sending RCMP Finger print to PA"
I sent them an explanation letter and i added
Few duties missing in the reference letter
Few days later i received finger print
Request and they received it after two weeks.
Now i know finger print is just criminality check
But some part of me think i passed eligibility check
Coz if they were gonna reject then y would
They send finger print request ..
I may be wrong or right ..

Hi Jolly - From the GCMS notes , It look like that some initial screening is happening before seding the finger print request. beacuase you mentioned that in your notes you have seen this -

awaiting officer review required before
Sending RCMP Finger print to PA"

Nobody knows the exact process , So just hope for the best.

You have got RCMP request , hopefully u will get the MR soon.

They have something called BFD ( bring forward date). That is the next date on which your file will be reviewed by the officer. Unfortunately, this date is known by cic only. You may not see this info in gcms.

Once on Ecas it says medical is received, how long on average does it take to turn the status to decision made?

I think I've remained in process for almost a week now

Chill out dude. He was asking for how to take advantage of spending the time going to the border, not saying how he hates going to the border. Take it easy, you'll be in the same position soon too!

It's at least good that your ecas is updaed to medical received. Mine does not even say that even though I completed medicals almost a month ago.
