COngrats! I already sent my PPR but right still no updates. No Visa yet. (
Hopefully this will be over soon. I miss my husband so much!

so i have sponsoship approval and my ecas just says medical results received but we just bought a house and move in 2 weeks, how do i let them know i will have a new address? thankfully a friend is moving in our current place so if they did send something i would be able to get it but i am just wndering how i let them know.

H Guys! I'm new here, been reading this forum for a while now and it's actually a big help so I decided to join! I sponsored my husband for PR last December, and got PPR first or second week of April. Sent out my husband's passport (he is here w/ me in Canada and we applied outbound, Manila) and according to the tracking of canada post it reached Manila April 12.. Anyone have a good idea of how long before they issue his visa? From what I've been seeing on this forum some have gotten their visa really quick, I'm hoping he gets his soon as well. Although it'll be a big help if ecas is updated but unfortunately it only says application received.. never changed.

Thanks, I am delighted and now just waiting to hear my next step. My app was received 13 December, and got our approval for sponsorship on 7th Feb. So that is 92 days? I have been reading on the forum and I think it will take about 2 weeks once I get the request for my passport from London.

Good luck to you!!!! How about your application, when do you expect to hear something, I notice your filed your application on the same day as me?

Yeah Dec 13 also, hehe my wife sent her passport on April 10, still no VISA, so it's been 30 days waiting now, so we're expecting to have news pretty soon, but Manila office is not as quick as London, I think avg waiting time after PPR is 45 to 60 days.

I applied outbound from Mexico and they asked for my police certificate on march, right now has been already 7 weeks they received it but I haven't got news... Do you know how long should I be waiting for??

My God! an hour and a half later the DHL office called me for asking where specifically my place in Cebu. I think I got my Visa already!!! wohooo!!! I was shaking and pretty excited, I could jump for joy! I couldnt explain how happy I am now. But the thing is an hour and a half later they stilll didnt found my place yet. I am getting worried about that now.


Anybody here please help me with these questions?
1.) Is it possible that the CEM is sending the VIsa together with my passport usng the DHL? Is it possible that its just a plain letter for another document request?

2.) If I get my visa what should I do before I travel?

3.) what should I do after I landed?

Please please anybody help me with these info's?
