i really don't know, it depends on the situation of every person, i started my 8 months now, and my medical will expire on 5 mai, so i hope that i will get my pr. before :) good luck to all and congratulations for all who got their passp. req.

hi KAMAL225
Have you got "passport request"?
if you've got it please inform us to estimate our file processing time?

hi saman2002
i am wondering if ur marriage is straight forward or not????because i think it has taken so longggg and w8ing is so boring....i am tired of w8ting///i hope u get pr verrry soon

What I understand is that Saman did not have the wedding ceremony before sponsoring his wife ( which is exactly similar to my case ???) , I think that is why it took so long.
I have decided to go back home in few weeks and have our wedding ceremony, hopefully we get the pp request when I am there otherwise my wife should do the new medical , her medical is going to expire in around 8 weeks :-X

I wish good luck to every one

I did not have a wedding ceremony either...I mean we had the engagement ceremony in a hall and 180 guests... I had a gown it just wasn't white lol... does it count?

Saman did you contact Damascus prior to the expiry of the medical exams?

Hi everyone I will try to answer all questions in here .
I didnot have a wedding before I had my engagement and I had my wedding after I applied and also my medical will expire on feb 18 but I don't know why they ask for new one before the expire date and also I did not get that I had straight marriage or not meaning that gay marriage ?

but today is Feb. 28 so it mean your medical has expired 10 days ago. is it your medical or your wife's medical ?? I am confused ???

Hi everybody I heard from some people that at second medical it will take less time anyone has any idea about it ??
I was waiting like everyone else but immigration didnot take any action so send inquiry they said it's in a queue and I contect my mp so I got to the point that as long as they don't want to issue your visa you cannot do anything about it . the best thing you can do just pray and wait and if you don't believe in pray just wait and wait until hopefully you get called good luck to every single one of us

i think ur wife shold call the medical doctor who has done her medical exam mabe it was a problem in her medical exam and they wanted new one before expiration....if not, it is the responsible officer decision...
for answering ur another question i have to say yes...second medical exam takes less time...my husband`s grand ma had the same history...an one month after the second medical exam she got her ppR so she is in canada right now. (yesterday she went to canada)

Okay so I have a question, if we put in our file when it was at 8 months processing time does the 10 month process time now apply or is it still the 8 month? When my file got there it was at 8 months processing. ???
