my husband is sending the papers tomorrow with the taxi driver so should be delivered to the embassy sunday. I'm crossing my fingers for next week

I called Canada Post and they told me that they cant do anything about it. They can start an investigation only after 1 month.

Once time I sent a mail to my wife in lebanon via Post Canada, it took 3 weeks to reach there.
But in urgent case I sent it by DHL, 3 days later it was there. But it costs a lot 100 $ almost

Htraboul is right. I checked for a courrier company like Purolator or Fed Ex and it costs minimum 100$ to send a simple letter to Middle East. ???

You can get your money back if they done hand it on time. they don't do it sometimes. I know someone who did that

Thank god we knew people from our village who were travelling to Canada while we were getting our application ready they helped so much because my husband would send papers with them everytime until the file was complete. Some were in montreal and as soon as the person just got to montreal he just mailed it to me to Ottawa.. Saved so much time and money.
