what is the RQ form ( it looks like Quebec form of residency)
i applied from Ottawa Ontario
they asked me for the residency form to be filled on 18 may 2011
medicals was done before I apply ;D

I think you are sponsoring your husband thats why they asked u for military but me iam sponsoring my wife and thay asked her for the military even she was under 18 when sh left IRAQ ;D

I know ottawa by heart I used to work for JDS uniphase years ago then with onvision co last year buut for some reason my little girl had a serious problrm with her wright eye so i returned to syria really i didnt care about the application I thought they cancel the appl but I found that it is still in process
sitiuation is Ok some areas are very dangerous, u dont know when problm occurs it start suddenly (UNBREDATABLE)
i live 10 km far from the embassy
my kidz all are Cnadian

i wouldnt worry, i mean chances are very low that all of the sudden they lose your email address , lets say even if they lose 1 they still have the one they sent the acknowledgement to, so dont worry im sure they have your contact info, maybe the mp was mistaking because they dont email to say we are looking at your files, they email to say you are missing documents or fill this up

i meant the one they sent you here in ottawa, saying you were accepted as a sponsor, they have that on file, they never sent my wife an acknowledgement email or letter either, in fact many people are in the exact same situation so i wouldnt worry my friend,
and no they wont verify , the best bet is just send an email saying HERE IS MY WIFE's email address, i did that even though i was sure they have mine and hers haha

no no that was part of the package,
the residency questionnaire is something the person being sponsored has to fill out and sign , the funny thing is most of the questions are about the sponsor lool so basically your wife will be writing your answers, its 9 questions asking WHAT YOUVE BEEN DOING since you became a sponsor so pretty much current job , address, did you file this years income tax, when was the last time you saw each other, how long were you there and so forth , very simple/useless/waste of time piece of document but for some reason we all have to do it

Hey Guys,

It has been long since I last posted. I had been so busy for the last 3-4 months. The embassy asked my wife for some more documents which we sent in june. 3 weeks ago I was told that our application is in queue for review. Today my MP informed me that the review is complete and now the file is waiting for an officer to check her medical/police clearence. I really hope this is the last step because we have been waiting for more than 12 months now. If they ask for more documents, I will kill someone. Please pray for us. Does anyone know if this is indeed the last step and how long after we send new medical should we expect ppr ? I wish I had better news for you guys. It has been long since someone in the forum got ppr. InshaAllah soon.
