Damascus/Spousal since Jan 2010 or late 2009

Guys,
My address has been changed (I am sponsoring my wife). I am still residing in Montreal.

Do you think it's necessary to inform the embassy in Damascus about the address change. I mean are they supposed to send me anything?

If I am not supposed to receive anything I prefer not to contact them. and not to add any further modification in our profile.

what do you think?

its a big risk if you dont because thats the address they will use in the system as your wife's residence and if she arrives and thats not the address it can cause a problem for you and besides you dont need to notify anyone, all you need to do is go to CIC and update your address, only when the person being sponsored has a change in information then you must notify damascus,

Today my MP informed me that the embassy just started with the initial review for my case. Not too sure what they have been doing for the past 8 month. Also, she told me that the embassy sent me an email earlier this morning giving me updates, but I nor my wife have received any thing. did this happen to any of you...is it possible that they messed up in writing the email address or has been captured incorectly.

I wish it is in the final stage....I dont think that it will be finalized before December. Her medical exams will expire in November and i will ask her to do them before 5 days hahaha....

I am just worried that they do have wrong email address, sine he lady mentioned that the embassy already sent out an email. do you guys think CIC knows?

BTW, inorder to make things easier, I bought my wife BlackBerry and now we are using bbm non stop.
it is better than nothing, right?

i wouldnt worry, i mean chances are very low that all of the sudden they lose your email address , lets say even if they lose 1 they still have the one they sent the acknowledgement to, so dont worry im sure they have your contact info, maybe the mp was mistaking because they dont email to say we are looking at your files, they email to say you are missing documents or fill this up
