I personally dont think that they can help or speed up t he process, but why not trying, i really hope you will hear something soon, and bt w , when i went to damascus on july 4th to pick the visa , there was no sign of bad situation , it was a regular life,

he is my MP, my file been with him for 4 month and his office only gave me 1 update

I think going to the embassy will not do you any good. I heard most visa officers are on their summer vacation and will be back around September. I am wondering if they will transfer our files due to the situation in Syria. Are you sure they received your medical results?If yes, email them and you might get good response. This is just my opinion. Good Luck!

I've never heard of anybody dying of dehydration, that is actually a pretty fun claim to make. If fasting risks somebodies health they do not have to fast, if they are sick they do not have to fast. If it was an oppressive religion it would make sense for people to be dying of dehydration and lack of ingesting food, but it simply isn't.

And millions of people each year fast in super hot countries without dying of dehydration, so think about things before you say them. "don't use my tax dollars to go to the doctor if you're fasting." Seriously you guys are so insulting and ignorant its not even funny.

And for those who say they are paying tax, for ur information you are not the only one who pay taxes in Canada, I my self pay tax and If I go to the doctor then it will be from my tax not your tax.

I did emailed them last week and they said not received yet, but it has been a month , is it should be after 2 weeks not month, I am just going crazy because i want to try get in to school before sept, and I do not want miss it

I totally agree with you. this is not a political group nor one about religion. I don't think we should discuss issues other than immigration. and honestly I was fasting in Lebanon last week and I'm still very much alive
