It is good to get the visa ASAP and The Officer will close our files.
They will be going to the rest of Files for PPR , it is the best thing we could do to help the rest of people who are waiting for PPR.

For coming from Iran to Canada, she does not need a transit visa. If she wanna go back to Iran from CA while she still does not have a PR card, she needs one.

My wife just left Iran-Mashhad an hour ago for Ankara with my mother in-law.
No , she will not need Transit Visa , since she has a Valid Canadian Visa in her Passport.

we're going to travel to Ankara and pickup the visa tomorrow .
Does the applicant's ( female ) requested 3.5 by 4.5 cm pictures have to be with hijab to pickup the visa ?

I am Iranian national (male). applied for my wife's sponsorship immigration to Ankara. They have started processing our application on Feb 16th 2013 (the time they received our application at Ankara). Based on your experiences and thoughts, how long would it take to receive VISA to canada?
I am PR and have submitted my grant of citizenship application last year. Does that affect the processing times?

Any reply would greatly be appreciated.

yes they'll ask for it before sending passport request email but as its gonna cause some more delay on the app it is suggested to pay it in advance n before they ask for it.

Based on my experience it will take you maybe 10 months or more...and the fact that you have submitted your citizenship application will not delay your process. Make sure you pay landing fee in the beginning of your process (in my opinion), as it will delay your process later and Good Luck.
