hello everyone,
thanks for rezan and all who stayed in touch during all this process
some of the infomation as you know are being requested again and some went missing during our previous mail to them
next week my lawyer will send more info to damasucs and medical will expire soon so i may have to repeat but i was instructed by my laywer not to redo it unless damasucs ask for it
i wish all of us the greatest luck and to be reunited with our loved ones soon
seperation is not helping me at all and i just want to say hello to all and good luck again and again

I do not know. just that it took Damascus 7 months.

Me too I can't go until july because I am finishing my bachelor's degree at the end of june and also I don't wanna lose my job it's a really good job. So it's not like I haven't thought of going back and being with my husband until the process is over it's just that I can't because of those circumstances. It sucks but that's life!

CIC got my documents on March 15 (this is what i can read on the website). When are they going to start the process in Damascus? How long does it take to start? How can I know that they start?
I called CIC and they said that they have no idea about it. I contacted Canadian Embassy in Damascus (by email) and didnt have any answer about it neither. :-[
Can someone give me some hints please?

Hi ! Usually they start processing your file 2-3 weeks after the approval of the CIC ( in most cases).. So you have to wait first until the Cic sends you the confirmation of approval. Then after that you should see on the website that they have started processing Permanent residency file on X date.. And they should normally send you an e0mail about it!!
