Tiago, did you get yours yet? I remember 2 weeks ago, you said that you'd have yours in 1-2 weeks.

My LMO was approved. NOC Code is 6474 Live-in caregiver for Disabled adult, province is British Columbia. Feb 18 2014 was the time when my employer fax her paper to CIC and got a positive response and approval on March 5. On March 7, CIC courier the LMO to the address of my employer but up to this time we are still waiting for its arrival.

What about processing times in Alberta?
is it true that around 3 or 4 months? my employer applied last week... is for a live in caregiver
Also.. when they finally get the LMO and they send it to me, so I need to take it immediately to the embassy with all my paper? or is it possible for me to wait like a couple of weeks in case im out of the country?

hi efazilian.. how many weeks for your LMO? my employer is in BC also, Vancouver.. bt she did not start yet for LMO because shes waiting for the medical certificate.. is LMO in VAncouver for LCP fast to approved or it will take 3 months? thank you

Well, obviously in two weeks it was already approved by service canada. This is the second time my employer is hiring a foreign worker maybe that is why twas approved immediately. If your employer is compliant with them I guess they will release the LMO soon. Just be patient.

that was fast.. i dont know if ths is the second or third time my employer hires for foreign worker.. they told me yesterday march 12 they sent for LMO hopefully it will be same time frame like yours..

Yes, I am under LCP but then still didn't start anything. I am still waiting for my new passport. Hope it will arrive soon.

Hi Guys .. I need information about LMO and work permit ...Actually its about my friend , he's from Singapore and holding diploma in electrical engineering..I wanna bring him here under my uncle company as a electrician...my uncle business quite good, he build the houses and sell them out ...
Guys any good advise ..1...i mean what we need to do for his LMO and work permit ??
2... whats the easiest way to get for him work permit and LMO??
3... whats the right way and procedure for LMO and work permit ??

I was hoping that you'd have yours by now. I'm only 9 and a half weeks into mine for a job in Saskatchewan and I really don't want to wait as long as you're waiting. Well, it seems like there's either a serious backlog or they're doing a more in-depth investigation of your employer. When you get it, please let us know.
