Hi All,

Need some advise as for some reason my profile went ineligible on 12/31 and I recreated my profile thursday where my score reduced by 1 point ( 453 from 454).
Here is some brief into my profile :

Age 31 = 90
Two or more bachelors (per WES) = 119
CLB 10 in all (IELTS) = 128
Human capital priority (10 years work exp) = 100
Spouse IELTS (R 5,L 5.5, W 6.5,S 6.5) = 8
Spouse education ( 3 years degree + 3 years diploma per WES) which should give 9 but EE profile is giving 8 = 8
Total now in new profile is 453 = 453

Just few days back ,my score was 454 with exact same info except to the fact that my wife's education was 9 for two certificates
I also changed her courses period begin month by 1 month , so that system can calculate it as 3 years and 1 month, still the score is same

Can someone please help here?

Thank you

Ur ielts shd be above 133, and for age 31 it shd be 99.

With a spouse it is 90 points at age 31

Yes, I am married so 99 is not valid for me

I am also facing the same issue. Spouse points for education should be 9 instead of 8.

The score was correct till 2 weeks back but now it is reduced by 1 point. I reported this as a technical issue thru the CIC website but received a totally irrelevant response from the CIC agent.

I also raised a technical issue but haven't heard back

Not sure what to do next
And to me one point can be a deal breaker as I am at 453 now

Same thing here. Reported it and their response was BLAH! Created a new EE profile and I'm still missing that point.

Hello there. My CRS score was 452 for last few months. However after the requirement changes by Govt. in Nov, the score came down by 1, the impact was due to qualification consideration of my wife. She is in the final year of her PHD, therefore her MSc. is considered for the purpose of immigration. Previously, there was an option of Bachelors + 1 year diploma that was the suggested evaluation by WES. However, with the current portal options setup, only Bachelors or Masters are allowed options in CIC. The overall impact has brought my application to 451. Can anyone comment on above situation, is this the right impact as I am managing my application by myself without any agent's guidance. Lastly, do you think 451 will qualify in the upcoming draws? I am just keeping fingers crossed that this 1 mark change should not be a major bottleneck.

Looks like there is a bug in their score calculation when spouse has more than one degree. And they are not even aware of it.

There is a update scheduled to their system on Tuesday. Hope it resolves the error

Hmmm...so there are lot of people with similar issue
Let me see if I can find any email I'd , so that I can write to them in detail about this bug

Also it doesnt matter if you go via agent or not , they can't do anything better than us

Again , my hope is this 1 point shouldn't impact our ITA and we get it with revised score but CIC is so unpredictable that we should do our best to get this issue resolved

Agreed, it would be great if someone can find this fix. Is there some technical error or the score might increase again automatically ? i assume it can't. 451 is what I need, keeping fingers crossed for next 1 or max 2 rounds things should happen. Have been waiting for the last 7 months now.

me too. Lost 1 point, checked again and again but cud not make sure why i lost one point :(

I hope so. Meanwhile, I have the same problem with adding points for my spouse Canadian degree. I cannot get any extra points.

Folks,

Can someone provide me email ID for IRCC wherein i can write the detailed issue?

All I could find is raising a technical concern which many of you have already done & got irrelevant response.

Thanks
