CRS points will reduce by 5, 3 months after submitting document

Hi All,

I got ITA in 13-Jan draw and submitted documents on 11-Mar. The cut off for the draw was 451 and my CRS score is 453.
On 5-Jun I will turn 30 years and hence my CRS score will reduce by 5, effectively taking it to 449 (below cut-off score of 451). I have already submitted the documents on 11-Mar.

So, can anybody advice if after 5-Jun my ITA will still be valid or my application for PR will be cancelled?

dont worry, your points will not be reduced as u have already submitted your PR application. Points are calculated when you receive ITA and when you submit your application if there is discrepancy between two then they recalculate and decide but even in this case if the difference is due to age , cic spares the applicant.

Agree. Your age points are freezed once you have submitted your post ITA application.

Agreed. If you have a birthday after you submit your application, you should have no worries.

At which point does the age score freeze is it as soon as i create my express entry profile or till i recieve my ita

As others have mentioned, your profile is frozen once your eAPR is submitted. This means that there can be no more changes on the profile- therefore, no changes in points, and no expiry of the profile, in case it passes its validity period of one year
In other words, you are fine.

13-Jan draw cut-off was 453, not 451
