Majromax, I will be sure to share what my GCMS notes say once I get them. My dates are VERY strange. I think seeing this new line is a positive thing, because someone had to access my application to add a new line. Aren't visa officers in charge of that?

The thing is, you have two different files, the electronic one, where they make the notes, and your paper file. They only need to access the electronic one to update your ecas. Your paper file could very well still be sitting in inventory.

What would motivate an officer to go back to my electronic file which ECAS says IP, to later add a third line? I sent in my police clearance before they requested one, so that's the main reason I would think that someone would update ECAS, since apparently they've been "processing" (received?) mine since July 14.

I just got another line on my ECAS?

Now I got...

1. We received your application for permanent residence on December 16, 2014.
2. We started processing your application on March 18, 2015.
3. Medical results have been received.
4. We sent you a letter on June 9, 2015. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

I already sent the information they requested on June 9th and they should have recieved it a month ago, I also sent it in an e-mail? I wonder if this is good or bad?

Decision Made!! I can't believe it! 316 days since we mailed it in or 44 weeks and a day.

He is moving here next month anyway, this is so fantastic it is over!!!

PS - blacknirvana. we received that extra line on our ECAS yesterday too. We had dealt with our request when it was sent so I ignored it

Congrats! I hope that means we are close to DM as well :)

Confusion, likely ::) Probably some kind of policy change and so some people got double IP's.

Wow, the long wait is over! Congrats!

Congrats to people getting DMs!

My ecas updated as well!

It changed to in process on Aug 6 like everyone else but now I have that third line too!

We received xxxx's application for permanent residence on May 29, 2015.
We started processing xxxx's application on August 4, 2015.
Medical results have been received.

I hope it means something good!

Six weeks later than our application and already IP while we're still stuck at Application Rec'd? Now I know how all those 2014 applicants felt when the early 2015 people started getting DMs made while they were waiting. I guess our application landed on the wrong pile or something.

Mine just changed to Decision Made!

I'm really happy :P, but also a bit worried :-[ about what the decision is, hope I get a letter or an e-mail very soon.

How long has it taken for others to recieve something in the mail or by e-mail?

Congrats! You won't receive an email.
You will receive your COPR in the mail. It varies and also depends on what address you gave them. If you're in Canada, it should take less than a week.
Mine took 5 days from when I got DM, but a week from when they mailed it.

Did your file ever go "In Process" if so when? Just curious.

Yes August 8th it changed to In Process, and two days ago a new line showed up when I clicked In Process (see my post a few posts back)

My wife is American, yes. I'm the sponsor.

But have you been reading all the threads lately about "in process" meaning something else? I don't think it means we're on the verge of getting DM. I think it means they've changed how they do ecas. People are saying in process is the new AOR2 and also that maybe it's because they're opening up all the files to check on photos being right and THEN putting them in the old "wait forever" pile. My own personal theory is that it's those things plus if they say it's in process they don't have to refund you anymore if you withdraw.
