A decision has been made on ........'s application. The office will contact ........ concerning this decision."

Any idea what would have been done? Should i assume that COPR is on the way.

Hey ,
I think your case is going pretty much ahead of mine... i just paid my RPRF can you tell me what could be lefft after that and how much time does it take to get the decision made after that.
My case of permanent residency says:
We received _________'s application for permanent residence on May 29, 2014.

We started processing __________'s application on August 11, 2014.

Medical results have been received.

Hi A1482,

We had paid RPRF fee at the time of application along with processing fee. I think that it has saved us few more days of waiting. But i believe you are also close to Decision Made point.

it took less than 2 weeks for me to go from IP to DM after paying my RPRF. I believe this has been explained to you before, and it depends on what other requests the visa office made at the same time as the fee request. If they are asking for the RPRF, then you can expect a decision made soon enough. the wait time for ottawa seems to be anywhere from 2-4 weeks. it's only been a few days, so you need to remain patient.

We applied for my sponsership Outland through London (I am irish).anyways we received our SA today,but it appears our application has been forwarded to Ottawa?

Someone on the forum said that this is normal as they are sending other applications to Ottawa to help with the workflow,but have been told by others that this seems abit odd..

Has anyone else had or heard of applications for other offices being forwarded to Ottawa?

Thanks in advance.just worried that something might have gone wrong..

Have you been living in Canada or the US? If so, CPC-O is a legitimate choice for processing your application and the decision is ultimately up to CIC.

I lived in canada for two years on a working visa,then ireland for a year with my partner,then back to canada on a tourist visa,then we both moved to Australia at the start of this year on a one year working visa so we could both work here while our application was being processed..

We sent out application in in June from here in Australia,and our working visas expire in January,when we will return to canada (me on a tourist visa if my pr hasn't come through)
Maybe this is why they have kept the application within Canada?as we won't be in Australia much longer,and are not returning to ireland?
 
Could you advise me is it possible to go to "land" at the closest US border by car (I`m in Canada) and obtain there a PRTD travel document which allows me to enter Canada before I get my PR card, the thing is I will be coming later by plane from Mexico (but obtain travel document from US land border)?

PRTDs are not issued by CBSA, only by CIC offices. Thus, you would need to obtain the PRTD from the CIC office in Mexico.
 
Hey all!

Can anyone give me an idea of how long it usually takes the Ottawa office to reply to emails?just wondering,is it the type of thing that takes a few weeks for a reply?or is it not that long of a wait?

Hi all! We finally received COPR yesterday and our landing date is August 26th. It has been a long journey, but so close now! :D
