ok thanks, that's a good idea, I emailed and asked where the notes were, hopefully that works.

I just don't understand why they don't request any further documents if there is an issue.

is there a number I can call?

Our notes are over 60 days now. We did email and they replied (days later) that were supposed to be due July 2nd but they were never generated and they don't know when they will be. Beyond frustrating.

awe that sucks...its hard cuz you expect to finally have an answer and you're waiting for the date to come and when It does, just more frustration.

I guess ill just forget about it...lol doesn't sound promising

well if it makes anyone feel better, i saw job listings for ATIP report processors on jobbank. perhaps they are getting overloaded with requests, and are hiring to keep up? lol these people make a s**tload of money!

I received my notes today!

they don't say a whole lot though but my husbands file was transferred to LA in may...they said the transfer reason was eligibility?? im surprised as we have no kids/criminal record.

it doesn't have an interview date on it, is there an expected time like the one year mark?

they also spelled his name wrong, should I update that somewhere? on ecas its spelled right.

the only activity seems to be with my sponsor info being transferred 4 times and his medical has been in process since November, and everything else not started.

so weird. i think what others have done is inquire with ottawa about whether their file is in la. it *might* get them to tranfer it back to ottawa, depending on why it's there. i believe someone else was successful in getting it tranferred back because of questioning it. unfortunately, i don't remember which member it was...

thank you I appreciate your help...for all of the times!!! lol

my husband left Hawaii to come to nova scotia, I thought they'd let him sail through for that hahahah

I have finally set my date for landing. On August 30 I will be driving from Connecticut to Toronto in a rental car.

Is there a better bridge to cross? Do I have to go through a specific one?

I am so excited to be with my husband again and finally start my life in Canada!

I am floored by how quickly your application was processed! It seems like they are really picking up speed in Ottawa, which is fantastic for everyone.

Same thing happened to me. (I'm the U.S citizen) Our app got chucked into L.A. . . I don't know if the big deal we made of it is what got it back. We had my Congressman from my home state involved, he sent a letter to the Canadian Government, we sent a letter to the Parliament in Canada, made several phone calls to the help center.

I don't know if what I did personally during my fit of rage helped it whatsoever, but it was sent back to Ottawa about 4 weeks ago now.
