Yup, Ivan is right, it will come via regular mail. Nothing to sign for. Look for a large-ish brown envelope from Canada (well the "Canada" part was more of a big deal to my wife since her address is US and she doesn't get a lot of mail from Canada)

Incidentally, I'll be occupied with our move for the next week or so and won't be able to update the spreadsheet (not sure when I'll have my Internet service installed in Montreal), so please contact amikety if you have an update.

If anyone else would like to help update the spreadsheets, please let me know and I'll add you as a spreadsheet editor. It's not hard, and you stay anonymous - the only person you need to give your email to is me (so I can add you as editor).

IvanP, I am free most of the time as I am now sitting idle in Canada now! If you need help let me know. I will be gone all day tomorrow and going back to the states next weekend but will be checking in and can update if need be. PM me if no one else has volunteered.

We received your application for permanent residence on January 30, 2013.

We started processing your application on August 13, 2013.

Medical results have been received.


Anyone else have this eCAS status, or did most of you go straight to DM? I am hoping it changes soon!

It is variable. Many see it flip straight to DM. One theory for you is that because they started processing the day before the big eCAS update on the 14th so you didn't hit DM yet while many of us went from App received -> in process (according to CIC) -> DM before the 14th.

Then again I could be way off. Who knows how it all works behind the scenes.

Anyway congrats on the update and hopefully you hit DM soon enough!

mine is saying the same but in process was Aug. 12th.
Application received Nov. 15th 2012

Ahhhh I'm gonna go crazy over the next week and a half. My hubby left early this morning for Cali and I'm pretty sure his COPR will be waiting in his mailbox upon his return!!! Wish I could know what day it shows up!!!!

Soo.....hubby's roomie reported we received a larger brown envelope from Canada in the mail today! One can only guess its our COPR!!!
