Awesome! Yay Ottawa and December movement!!!

So I've booked tickets to go to Canada to visit my husband... I'll be leaving in two weeks from today and will be there a little over a month...

I'm just paranoid that they will turn me away at the border!

Grats, Brightredscream!!! My husband emailed CIC yesterday, and I just received an email that says we were approved on June 13th and that our COPR has been placed into processing, yeah!

Cool.. Let me email CIC-Ottawa today, hope to get response from them.

Unless you say the "b" word, I'm sure you'll be okay crossing the border.

"What do you have in this suitcase?"

"My bomb."

Blink blink.

"I'm going to blow up something."

Sure, I've created an entry for you (it's the last one for now - I'll re-sort the sheet later), just post your timeline and I'll fill in the rest of the blanks.

Application received by CIC on July 24, 2012, Sponsor approval Oct. 2, 2012...did I miss anything else?

Just the date of medicals - that could be relevant with your visa issuance taking so long, but hopefully they won't ask you to redo them!

I don't remember the exact date of my medicals anymore, but I know it was mid-end of May 2012. Sorry.

Let's call it May 22. Good enough!

I had to call my husband and read that off to him! We both just about died laughing! Thanks for brightening our day a little. :)

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is why it's important to joke pseudonymously on the Internet.

Decision Made finally . ECAS tracker emailed me... Then I checked the status -- it shows decision made . Now I will wait for COPR..

My ECAS now says decision made, too... you know, it doesn't seem like it would take much to have a few clerical folks who updated ECAS on a regular basis, and then everyone would be freaked out all the time.
