You can view the Ottawa spreadsheet to see how people are progressing. The link is in my signature and the signature of many others that post in this thread.

Just keep in mind, some people never return to update us. The SS is a useful tool - but not the end all, be all. There's no way to guarantee or predict how quickly a file will go through. Even people with "perfect" applications have things happen...... like CIC misplaces their forms........ The best we can do is look at the overall picture for trends :)

I periodically send messages to people who haven't provided spreadsheet updates for a while, so the spreadsheet is actually quite accurate. Even if I didn't do that, I'd bet money that it's substantially more accurate than ECAS.

When I spoke to the MP's office, the lady told me not to trust ECAS! lol

Checked ecas today and it changed to decision made, never did say "in Process". Home address in Canada also added. Now the waiting game continues until the papers are in my hand. Was hoping to have completed before our next trip across the border next week. At least the end is in sight!!

I am hoping that I get my COPR without a PPR and that I get it within the next two and a half weeks! If I don't get it by the 3rd, I won't be able to go ahead with my present plan of when I'm going to leave. I know it's probably pretty unlikely that I'll get it by then, but I'm hoping... Have my fingers and toes crossed.

My attorney informed me yesterday that I will probably have to retake my medicals since they are going to expire in June... She also insists that this will only back up my application by about a week, which I KNOW isn't true! I really wish there was something I could do about the darn attorney's office! Unfortunately, they way they get paid is 500 dollar retainer up front, 500 dollars upon submission of the application, and 1000 dollars upon the sponsor's approval. So they already have all their money. I'm just SO darn upset about this!

Why wouldn't the visa office request an extension of your medicals? Making you re-take them would be an unusual step, especially at your point in the application process.
