If you get a passport request and they still haven't asked for an interview, then that usually means the interview is waived. They still reserve the right to request one after but they usually don't. As for a timeline, who knows, nothing is exact with CIC haha

If the person is a US citizen then it's very rare to have an interview, I wouldn't worry about it unless your application was complicated in some way.

Well holy moly, it's 3am in deepest darkest Alberta (can't sleep) and I got an email from Ecas tracker (didn't think that was working) about 20 mins ago, to say Ecas has been updated stating 'medical results have been recieved' .

Is this thing nearing an end 8)

Good. My ecas also updated to medical received on MAR 29th. One week after you. I wonder how much longer we have to wait. I will ask my MP to contact CIC today. What are you doing in this small town in Alberta? I just ask because I am thinking of moving to Alberta when my husband finally comes. Keep us posted.

That's largely been my experience as well.

As long as it's not illegible when printed, I would assume it's acceptable because that's the font that is pre-set in the .pdf.

Does anyone know if CPP-ottawa is open on easter monday? I wrote them an email a week ago, and they replied this morning at 10:30. Considering that they replied I'm guessing they might be open? The reason I'm asking is because I have my visa in process there and I'm traveling in a few days. Anyone knows anything about their hours, holiday hours etc?
