I think the way to check is to put in the UCI for the person being sponsored (if they have one), whatever the mailing address says on ECAS is likely where it will be sent.

Question regarding this. I am the sponsor and have a UCI number. the correspondence I received also has a FXXXXXXXXX. Is that for the applicant? Would that be the UCI for the applicant? I would also like to verify to see which address they have for my common-law-husband. tks to all

I have no idea, haha. Possibly an application number? It is likely for both of you.

The FXXXXXXXX number is the application number. You'll find all of the applicant's information there. :)

ahhh.. thank you. that makes perfect sense. I just went in there and it shows my husband's mailing address as being the one in Canada. I got all excited but then the status still says application received....... I can't wait to hear back from them...... Are there any other julyers that have not heard anything yet? or am i the only one :(

Well if it makes you feel any better. Our application went end of July and we received PPR end of January. Our status online still says application received. I don't think they update it consistently at all so I wouldn't really pay attention to that. I'm sure you'll be hearing something very soon! Good luck!!

The FXXXXXXXX is the file number, it identifies the application.

Probably a really silly question, but what does PPT and COPR stand for? :-X

I think you mean PPR?
PPR - passport request (near the end! Unless you need an interview)
COPR - confirmation of permanent residency (the end!)

Whoops typo! And duh :P
I feel so dumb lol

Hey, anyone know how the COPR is generally sent anyway?? Our e-cas now shows up as Decision Made...is it mailed out to one of our addresses, or emailed?

It is always mailed, and if you have Decision Made it will likely show up in a week or two

Do they send by courier or regular mail?

Hey, you're done! Congrats, Occasita...did you just wander down to the nearest border once you got COPR, then turn around and come back?

@IvanP - ours came regular mail, just a brown envelope with papers inside

@silver-2 - Thanks =) We are leaving today, getting his stuff from his parents house + his dog, and coming back Saturday.
