Emily_Anya - Was your sponsorship common law or spousal? Just want to get an idea if maybe common law gets processed faster than spousal.

Hey Agnelo,

If it helps at all our sponsorship was common-law and we've received PPR. See timeline. But our application was foolproof, we had ridiculous amounts of proof. Figured you can't send too much right?

Thanks Kfair001. It's a little harder to get tons of evidence for us as we live separately since she is unable to work here. Hopefully everything we submitted was sufficient.

It is nice to see some Julyers getting their PPR. I keep checking my e-mails constantly..... I'm so excited... :)

New meds requested today.

I think I know the answer - but do you know if Medicals are the 1st or the last thing checked in the admissibility assessment?

It's the 1st communication from Ottawa since July 28th, 2012 and trying to figure out if this is the first time their touching my file or if it's been in process (security checks etc).

We also live seperatey. As a matter of fact its been almost two years since the last time we lived together but we did manage to go back and get a lot of old bills and send all of our phone bills and travel stuff. I'm sure you sent in enough. If i had enough, I'm sure you do! good luck and all the best to you!

It means they are processing your file. It's quite likely that it's the only thing outstanding, though they could be waiting back on security checks.

More movement for July! My application was received on July 6, 2012 and I just got PPR today! Our application was pretty basic - the photos we did send in were just copied in to a Word document and printed out in black and white and we didn't do any fancy organizing of the application. Good luck to the rest!

llpeters08 was your application a common law or spousal?

So glad to hear there's more movement for July applicants! I'm flying down to the US tomorrow to drive back with my husband to Canada. Hopefully we'll here something soon so he'll only have to be a visitor for a little while. :)

In process as of January 29.

Home stretch!

VO processing times have just been updated... Ottawa has increased from 12 months to 13.
