Hi everyone, wanted to let you know that I hahve updated the spreadsheet to the best of my ability. I apologize for the delay but I had a firsthand experience with the AMAZING Canadian healthcare system.......I was rushed by ambulance to the local hospital where I spent 4 days in their care. Let me tell you, itwas not nice being in the hospital but it WAS nice to not worry about the bill that I would receive at the end of the stay. (I know all of my other American friends can understand what I am saying about that.) Anyway, I am back and will try to check in weekly to update as I had been. I WILL be out of town this coming weekend through next Wednesday the 12th as I am going back to the USA to get my things out of storage and bring a Uhaul back. As I've said before, the BEST way to get updated on the spreadsheet is to send me a private message.

CONGRATS to all who had movement the past few weeks!!

Oh sorry you were not well, Buffy, glad you are back! I still have at least 3 trips to storage and since I don't have Ontario DL my hubby wants me to drive as little as possible right now until we get everything in order with my car etc.

Grad you were released from a hospital, Buffy2323!!

I landed yesterday at Lewiston-Queenston Bridge after having enjoyed a bit of shopping at the outlet in the US side. Everything went smoothly and it took about a half hour I think. I prepared a B4 form in advance and also made a list of my belongings (all "Goods to Follow").

While waiting to arrive the PR card - the officer said it takes around 8 weeks, I'll go to the offices to update my SIN and apply for my OHIP (for sure I know I need to wait for 3 months).

Thanks everyone!!

It's been a month a two weeks since we got PPR. It's been almost 22months since we applied to the Ottawa office. It was transferred to LA sometime last year but I don't know when as I was not notified of the transfer. I'm 2months short of a two year application processing time and I really hope COPR comes soon as it's been a longggggggggg process. Anyone else had any recent contact with LA? My Ecas still says "in process" and I wanna start planning for my landing. Thank you.

Got COPR in the mail yesterday!

We won't actually move for awhile because we have to sell the house first, but it's sure nice to have that piece of paper in hand. :)

I hope everybody who is still waiting gets good news soon!

Congradulations. When does your COPR expire if you don't mind me asking?

Oddly, it expires on August 6. We were expecting it to expire at the end of June, because my husband had his medical exam in June 2013 and I was under the impression you had to land before the medicals were a year old. At first I thought we were reading the date wrong (DD/MM instead of MM/DD) but we compared it to other dates on the form and it is definitely August.

We had the same. We did medicals and submitted in July, but the COPR expires in August. Maybe the immigration doctor didn't send the medicals till August, or something?

As for DD/MM, ours expires in the middle of the month so it was easy to see the right order!

Congrats, ExiledCanadian!

I finally heard back after multiple email inquiries to Ottawa. Our application was approved and they sent COPR in the mail yesterday!! It's so exciting and surreal at the same time. It seems like we have been waiting for so long and this day would never come.

Good luck to everyone, you will get good news soon!

Woot! Just received an email from CPC-Ottawa stating that my application had been forwarded to CPC-Ottawa for further review and they requested a scan of my CSQ. Happy to hear that someone has actually opened our package! Hopefully it'll stay on top of someones desk rather than get thrown back in a stack somewhere...

Feeling good!

Thanks!

Also received a reply to my CSQ submission stating that it looks in order and that I should be contacted in the coming weeks for the next steps in the application process. "In the coming weeks" -- hopefully that's not code for sometime in the distant future ;]

My wife (americaninlove) just got COPR in the mail today, March 6th! Also, "Decision Made" finally showed up on Feb. 26th on E-CAS. It had been "In Process" so long I had to double check to make sure I wasn't looking at sponsorship! Could you please update the spreadsheet?

We are so excited and lucky. Thankfully this process has been swift as we only had to wait for a little over 7 months. Wishing you all an easy and speedy process to PR. We are planning a trip to the border now to get her landed!

Congratulations to everyone who received COPR. Anyone received their COPR from from LA or a any other United States office?
