How long did it take them to respond to you?

I'm praying that mine is close to getting done also.

Sweet! hmmm... I may send them another e-mail next week. I did hear back from them 7/27 saying that they got everything but perhaps enough time has passed so that they won't get annoyed at another update request.

The end of the road is near for you! COngrats!

I found that having a Justice Canada lawyer breathing down the neck of the officer helps as well. :)

I don't suppose you've got one handy?

They're a bit like nuclear weapons - one use only. Sorry...

We received PPR on July 25 - and then an additional request for financial proof of employment on July 29th - we sent documents the next day in reply to that email on July 30th.

I've heard horror stories on this very forum of them not receiving the requested documents despite them being sent and having to go through hell to try and figure out what happened etc. SO - I decided to email them this morning with the following:

"Hi There,

Just wanted to confirm you received the requested documents sent July 30/2013 in reply to this email.

Thank you!"

and within literally 5 minutes got the following reply from the same VO who sent us the initial ppr and additional document request

"We did.

Thank you

Case Officer VH"

Polite and to the point!!! I wonder how long it will take from this point on now... hmm! Hoping to be Amikety lucky!!! :)

We have the same case officer! I just sent my additional information in today. Now the wait begins.... again :)

Is SE5040 my case officer?

Anyone has the same officer? Any feedback?

Yeah, I think that is the ID of your officer

I e-mailed Ottawa to see if they received my FBI clearance/passport on August 8th and received a response today:

Hi,

We have received the documents listed below.

Thanks.

This was the second e-mail from "SB01716" so I assume this is my case officer! Nice to get a response even though I didn't get any further info about my timeline/COPR. Oh well, Ill take it :)

Hi guys,

when they request passport , is that the passport for the sponsored spouse? Since the sponsored spouse is in Lebanon, why don't they request it down there. I dont get how this. I am guessing, I will get an email that will request the passport and my husnad in Lebanon will have to send it to Beirut not Ottawa? could you guys confirm? I am really looking forward that they request this passport already inshallah. I have been having dreams about this process. :(

Thanks guys and good luck to all.

My wife has the same case officer as you! I found this person to be fairly responsive with replying to e-mails. I also got a similar message when i asked if he/she got everything ok.

ALLY06 - what is your eCAS status? My wife is still suck at "Application Received". I'm hoping the officer is good at responding to e-mails but doesn't update eCAS as much (meaning my progress is much further along than "Application Received").
